Makes great coffee, good for coffee makers
I was fed up with my moldy old Mr. Coffee so I tried this method. Very durable carafe and coffee pot. I use Melitta filters because it's easier to clean and tastes the same as without a filter. I have a gooseneck kettle to direct the water and I drink Starbuck quality coffee every morning now. Ahhh it's great to enjoy a cup of good strong coffee despite seeing heartbreaking news every morning about pathetic politicians cheating us.
