Love the fact that this mug warmer actually seems to keep my drink hotter than other warmers I've used. I've had plenty of mug warmers that do just that: keep my coffee warm but not hot. I like the gravity aspect of this heater. There's no on/off switch so you don't have to worry about leaving your mug on the heating pad and coming back to find it burned on the bottom (like I've done in the past). However, it took a lot of fiddling to figure out WHERE exactly on the heating pad to place the cup

Works as it should, maintains the temperature of the liquid in the cup. However, the power cord is incredibly short. I can't place the device in a convenient place on my desktop to use it. I am disappointed and will not use an extension cord for safety reasons.

Keeps coffee warm in a ceramic mug. The auto shut off is probably smart, grab a cup and it shuts off. If the cup is half full and you place it on the warmer you will need to apply some pressure to turn the warmer back on as the partially full cup may not be heavy enough to activate the on/off microswitch. Be careful - you can easily burn your finger if you touch the hot part.

Used for 2 days. Every time the cup warmer is turned on, it smells like burnt plastic. I thought it was some kind of mug that I used. Changed several times, still smelled. My husband looked at the electrical specs and apparently it doesn't operate on the same frequency as a typical US home. The smell of burnt plastic was due to the device being overloaded with electricity. Luckily I stopped using it and pointed it out. To return.

My coffee got cold on this "warmer". I bought it because of the auto shut off feature. The idea is good, but the implementation requires work. It turns off when you pick up a cup and turns on again when you put the cup back on the table. So the heating pad doesn't really have time to warm up your drink. Another downside is the short power cord. I have it on the table and the surge protector is on the floor so the plug barely reaches it. I go back to my Mr Coffee mug warmer which works great…
