Good modification for air intake

Not the most perfect guide, but comprehensive enough. I wish they knew exactly what nuts and bolts to use with each step so I could be sure I was using the correct ones, but needless to say it was pretty easy to do. It sounds incredible under hard acceleration. It doesn't make any extra noise under normal driving conditions, but it sounds like a beast under hard acceleration.

Pros
  • HIGH QUALITY: Made in America.
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...

Best relatively inexpensive mod you can make

I just got this truck, everything is in stock and it was the first investment. The best relatively low budget mod you can make. The factory airbox is sooooo limited. I took it off and was shocked at how tiny the inlet was. It took maybe 30-45 minutes. The instructions are pretty straightforward if you have at least a basic knowledge of car maintenance. Can't tell if my MPG went up, but this truck isn't built to save. . For the next two days I pedaled hard just to hear them. Better traction at…

Pros
  • EASY TO INSTALL: Bolt on performance in under an hour with basic hand tools. K&N air intake systems are one of the easiest ways to guarantee more performance.
Cons
  • Minor issues

The sound it makes is worth it.

First and foremost, it is very important to follow the instructions carefully. Second, the directions were terrible. Serious 35 photos in the engine compartment and 1 liner, for example, place the bolt as shown in the picture - this is a reduced photo of the entire engine. So I had 3 things I needed to redo. 1 - the rearmost screw, which already had a screw, does not get a nut. You notice that when you miss a nut 10 steps too late. 2 - The negative cable goes in front or behind the bracket. 3 -

Pros
  • BETTER TOWING: Improves acceleration and climbing performance when towing with improved throttle response.
Cons
  • There are problems
