ColdPruf Women's Platinum Double Layer Bottom Review

The villi came out quickly after wearing once. The material isn't great. It's pretty baggy for me. Warm level: 2-3 in Iceland. I was wearing other base layers and they weren't warm enough. Wouldn't buy again.

After moving to Alaska, I realized I needed way more pants than I had. I ordered different types including different brands and/or styles. This pair was definitely the winner of them all. They fit perfectly, are very warm and very comfortable. Will order a few more.

I bought this for a business trip to Washington when I found out it was going to be 0 degrees. The material is thicker than the other pair I have from 32 degrees but for some reason it's a little itchy (and yes I washed it before wearing it the first time) when I wear it. But it does the job and keeps me warm. But be aware that you may be a little itchy if kept warm.

Love this so much! I've had them for almost two years now and they are still in very good condition. I wore them while walking from my apartment to class in 15 degrees Fahrenheit and was seven months pregnant. They are not bulky and can be worn under dresses/skirts without being flashy. I love them so much I bought a pair for a friend when she moved to the Midwest. These are the only base layer briefs my husband and I buy.

I have mixed feelings about it . I bought these to wear under running tights and while they keep me warm they are a bit odd. I am size 8 and got them in M. They fit great everywhere except the instep. They're really short on the climb! I'm only 5ft 3in so I think it's a bit odd. Judging by the picture, they should not be low. This is either a design flaw or a design flaw. I won't buy them again.

Looks like a great underlayer for the upcoming spring hunt. This material is thinner than the ColdPruf Quest leggings, but it's a completely different material. You have wool, Quest doesn't. I bought both and I liked both. Wool will be good for warmth and they appear to be durable. I ordered them small and they fit well. I'm 5'4", 142 pounds and normally wear a size 4-6 jean. They are form fitting which is what you need for a good base layer and they fit me true to size.

Pros: They're comfortable, soft and I can tuck them into very tight skinny jeans. It seems they can be quite warm under pants or alone at home. Cons: Odd fit - roomy and short. Wanted a base layer that could also be leggings but better suited to long underwear (looks like the pictures). They're also lint magnets, if that's important to you.
