I prefer my Listerine

I tried it because alcohol based mouthwashes REALLY sting and that doesn't make them my favorite thing. But it still stings - albeit not as badly, but it's not exactly a pain-free mouthwash - plus it has a weird, unpleasant aftertaste. It also warns that it can stain your teeth, and while I may be paranoid, I think I see a slight green tint.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not sure

Does not sting - oral care

I have previously used the Listerine brand. I used to be afraid to use mouthwash because of the stinging. My eyes watered every time. However, this one doesn't itch at all. It leaves a fresh and minty smell in the mouth. I'll definitely buy more, but next time I'll probably go for a bigger bottle. It's a small bottle and doesn't last long if rinsed twice a day.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Mouthwash Mouthwash

I cannot rate the effectiveness of this product in fighting plaque, killing germs or treating gingivitis as I already have a fairly healthy mouth. I can say that I have generally avoided any use of mouthwash due to the awful sensations most of them have when using them. The Colgate Total Advanced Pro-Shield Mouthwash is completely different! It's very nice to use. I definitely see this for staying in my first aid kit. I also see parents being very successful in getting their children to use it,

Pros
  • free for educational purposes
Cons
  • very expensive

Fresh mint is good for mouthwash

Great taste and product. No burning effect. Fresh mint. Very small bottle for the price. I won't be buying from Amazon again, but it's not the product.

  • Good thing

This mouthwash is great. Much better than Listerine and much less burning. It leaves a fresh and minty clean mouthfeel.

Suitable for me Daughter Approved

I liked this mouthwash. It worked well. My mouth was fresh and my teeth were clean. However, I didn't like the taste. It was too sweet for me. My daughter, on the other hand, was delighted. She's 11. Mouthwash is usually too minty for her and she hates the sting. It doesn't burn and the sweet taste appeals to her. She uses it at lunchtime and it keeps her breath fresh all night.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Large and voluminous

I don't like using propylene glycol

So I don't like propylene glycol in this mouthwash. I know it shouldn't be harmful in small doses, but the sheer amount of food, aliment, and drink that contain it makes me wary. As for the product itself, it's not bad. I don't like aftertastes, but I rarely like the aftertaste of anything mint-related. The mint isn't strong enough to deter, nor does it burn. My mouth felt fresh for about an hour after using it. Both are good things. If it wasn't for propylene glycol I would be a lot happierโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Huge price

Blast from the past! Colgate is back on top! mint sprinkles!

Over the years I have given up Colgate due to the growing number of products on the market. So when I saw this mouthwash I had to smile and remembered growing up in Ohio when my mom and almost everyone we knew used Colgate products. Back then we used Colgate toothpaste as well as the very popular Cashmere Bouquet soap. Smells as good as the name suggests. Now that I've made the switch to this mouthwash, the word SPEARMINT has drawn me in immediately. I love the taste so much that I now rinseโ€ฆ

This is a mouthwash. Oral care

Not much can be said about the bottle of mouthwash. Either you like it or you don't. We use different products at home, but they're always big names (Crest, Colgate, Rembrandt, etc.). I think it really depends if I have a coupon and if it's on sale. This mint ripple mouthwash made us want to try it initially because it's what my husband and I prefer. As for the mouthwash, compared to the Listerine brand, it is much better at reducing the burning sensation. I hate this feeling! There was aโ€ฆ
