There is nothing wrong with this basket. That's great. So strong when you hold an 8 liter pot of potatoes. I couldn't believe it. I have 2 instant pots of 8kW. I found a second basket like this at a thrift store. So happy. Now I have a steamer basket for both pots. I like its convenience.

I think this is the third purchase. Anytime someone else sees how easy and versatile it is, they should have it (usually the one we already had)! It's great for everything from finding unopened popcorn to making popcorn balls to a "bread basket" for fish sandwiches. Particularly useful for people with limited storage space (RVs, vans, etc.)

I bought this to replace a silicone steamer, was a little worried it might not be suitable for my purposes. But it is so! I use it every week to steam veggies for dog food ie beets + cauliflower + zucchini - I use a steamer to fill it to the TOP. Vegetables are always perfect! Cons: - I had to adjust the cooking time (takes LESS time than other steamers). Otherwise everything comes out bland and overcooked. - When the basket is really full, it falls into the water along with all the vegetables.
