Manufacturer claims 1-2 hours of continuous use. I have about 50 minutes. You could say I split my hair; that 50 minutes is almost an hour. Maybe you would be right. Maybe you wouldn't. When the manufacturer says 1-2 hours instead of "about an hour" I think they are setting a wait time I can expect at least a little over an hour. The question of whether the device was fully charged is beyond doubt. I let it charge overnight (at least 8 hours) and the charge indicator didn't go off.

Update: The seller has been in touch and offered to send a replacement. The replacement looks good and works perfectly. Hope the replacement lasts longer. I value good customer service. This is perfect for my two small dogs, one is elderly, hard of hearing and often gets lost in the dark and the other is neurologically impaired and can latch on.
