No blackout curtains as advertised

These curtains are SUPER thin. These are definitely not blackout curtains, even if you used both back-to-back or doubled the material. If you're looking for curtains that don't blackout, they're fine. Soft material and nice color. I bought these specifically for the dimming function as advertised as my husband works nights and needs a dark room to sleep. These are almost transparent. The photo provided is also of a window that is already shaded.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Will be made

Do not wash, just iron and hang up.

They are great for my RV. The only thing I didn't like about them was that they made a mess in my washing machine when I washed them before putting them in. So much so that I had to clean our little washing machine. They don't shed very well, but were easy to remove with a lint roller. There's nothing special about them, very basic, but that's what I was looking for. They don't shine through. They are as thick as a standard Walmart pillowcase. i still love her They decorated my RV.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • Can I add something

Sad curtains for window care kits

Sad curtains. DEFINITELY NOT AS RECOMMENDED. THEY ARE NOT BLACK AND WITHOUT INSULATION. YOU CAN SEE THE LIGHT WHEN IT IS NOT DUBBED. THEY ALSO HAVE AN UNPLEASANT ODOUR. it's more like a medium weight pillowcase material. It came in a flat THIN envelope. I immediately realized that this is not what I ordered. Insulated curtains have weight and hang well in folds. I think I still have 2 sets. But since I'm so skinny I'd have to order two more sets to get it right. So I think I'll return 3 sets…

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

No isolation if that's what you want.

I bought them in white. They are not fully see-through as the reviews show, but are made from 100% polyester, thicker than 100% cotton material. However, you can see shapes through them if you hold them up to the light. You are not a blackout. I washed and dried them immediately and they fit perfectly. Lint was gone. They are clean and tidy - well done. BUT. I bought these for HEAT only to find that they do not have thermal insulation as advertised. Very disappointing as I can no longer return…

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Good but not great

Hard to criticize for the price

Had to replace some girly lemon curtains on a budget so: Good: They block heat/cold pretty well. You look good. The Bad: They're not completely blacked out, although I'd call it more than 50%. First I ordered wine for an ending to see if I liked them... yes. But I figured the wine would wrap too tightly around my festive Rambler visor, so I went gray... and then I realized I had Tampa Bay curtains. They'll stay, but I'll probably lose the wine at some point. Too bad I only got the white one…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Quality
