Cozy Unisex Buttoned Hat by Collections Etc. Review

I bought this hat for my mother. which is very cold even in a warm house. She loves it for the warmth and coverage but as some have mentioned the buttons don't stay buttoned up for some reason which is not good as she wants it to fit snugly around her neck.

I really like this hat. It's comfortable and keeps the cold out. It doesn't feel as comfortable as one would like, but that's okay. My only other complaint is that it's difficult to keep the buttons closed. I wonder if her buttonholes are too big? I plan on making them a little smaller and see if that helps.

Many people said that it is thin and not warm. I was surprised at the thickness. The fit is odd. I need a very long neck to accommodate this so I fold it a few times. The buttons are oddly placed, but the buttonholes on mine aren't too big as others have said. I would also say that this headgear is designed for a very large tall head. LAUGH OUT LOUD. I'm still good with it for walks in winter weather.

EXCELLENT quality for so much money! Warm and cozy! We don't have much cold weather in North Florida, but when we do it's usually windy and cold, and that makes matters worse. My husband and I sell our crafts at the farmers market, which is right on the water. If that wind blows my way, this hat will be the perfect protection! Likewise. I always have a sore throat so I chose this particular hat. So far no sore throat!

These hats are so cool I bought three! I try to dress like an adult so I'm just sending my trusty hoodies for the weekend. However, my hair is very fluffy and regular hats just don't work for me, so I figured these hooded hats would help. You are perfect! Buttons tend to fall out, so I took a needle and thread and sewed the ends of the buttonholes together to make them smaller.

I'm a woman with a medium sized head. The hat fit well. The buttons were sewn on the wrong side of the zipper, but this can easily be fixed if you know how to sew on buttons. The problem is that the fabric is loosely woven and will NOT keep your ears warm when the winter wind blows! It hugs the face snugly. Unfortunately I'm sending it back. I really need something to keep my ears warm when the frost is near freezing!

It's ok, just a bit big but keeps my head warm. There's no cables or anything cute about this hat, but it's certainly very functional and for the price, it's great. I wear it buttoned around my neck and when it's cold outside I pull it over my head, pull the hood over it on my jacket and it's snuggly warm. (I bought a similar red hood at retail. It fits a little better.)

The picture is COMPLETELY misleading. I should have taken reviews seriously. The buttons on the wrong side cannot be fully corrected by moving the buttons, as the buttonholes and seams will also be sewn on incorrectly. Also huge, also huge. I only keep it because it solves my medical problem. Just a piece of fabric at the moment. Thank God I still have a sewing machine that needs to be renewed. Sad. I hate rewarding incompetence. Otherwise he would have gone back.

I bought this to replace a scarf that I can't find anymore. This is probably the sixth type of item I've bought to see if it works. I had a real opportunity to take advantage of this weekend in Denver when the storm hit and WOW it was awesome. It covered my neck, head and ears. I liked wearing it over a denim jacket, it kept me warm and dry. I would give five stars but the buttonholes are huge.
