Great value when you need a full set of brushes. I paint almost exclusively in oil (sometimes watercolor) and they are good in both mediums (and not pet hair). They don't tangle, stay true to their shape, and clean just as easily as any other. Don't shed either. A curiosity was that it was necessary to glue the metal part with the brush to a handle (it was packed in a sealed package). no problem with that.

I didn't have enough to finish a watercolor painting, I wanted to rinse the brush with water and took it out to continue painting, and the brush head fell off in the water. They are of very poor quality and keep losing their bristles. I spent a lot of time using tweezers to pick out the stubble from my paintings and solid pigment color blocks.

I paint a lot of oil paintings, usually at least once a week. I was excited to get these brushes and use them. Then they started falling apart after almost a use or two in a row. I've already thrown out a few of them, but here are some of them that are about to be thrown out. They don't last long, just a few uses. I take good care of my brushes - I usually wash them with turpentine and then warm water before drying them with a paper towel.
