Comes back with or without effort.

I dropped it and it came back the first time. As for catching, I just need to work on it. When it came back it was still spinning hard so I just stepped to the side. As for throwing into the wind, the included instructions are worth the money, but it's just something the thrower should simply do and adjust according to their way of flying. Suggest throwing it in large open areas where it cannot hit anything at any point in the flight. And even in a large field, I would not advise throwing intoโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Long precision flight
Cons
  • No instructions

You might as well throw a rock!

When I first examined this Eagle boomerang, I found that the poorly sanded plywood used in its construction was full of numerous small voids around the edges, especially along the leading edges, which raised concerns about how well it will fly. Inexpensive but functional boomerangs are usually made from Baltic birch plywood. More expensive models use Finnish aircraft plywood. It looked just like the cheap hardware store stuff with two outer layers of birch veneer and one layer of putty. Justโ€ฆ

Pros
  • For children over 8 but intended for adults
Cons
  • Nothing

Hours of fun

I love this boomerang. Throwing never gets old. I could throw it for hours. It is very easy to use and return to you. You need a lot of permissions. When the manual says you need an area the size of a football field, it's no joke. Don't try to buy this if you don't have access to a large field as you will surely lose it in a tree or possibly injure someone.

Pros
  • Handcrafted from Finnish aircraft plywood
Cons
  • Without automatic controls

An inconvenience on a wrong throw, a majestic spectacle on a right throw.

Ah yes, eagle. The most challenging boomerang in my collection, but also the most interesting. I have several boomerangs, right and left, but I'm new to throwing. The eagle gives me a lot of disappointment and a lot of joy. This boomerang MUST be thrown correctly. It flies very far. So if you don't drop it properly, you've got a long way to go to find it, provided you've seen exactly where it ended up. However, if you throw this chime correctly, it will blow up and just stay there. I didn'tโ€ฆ
