Something stinks! in Active Shirts & Tees

I like Columbia shirts. But this material is lacking compared to their other shirts. holds moisture to a rancid BO stench that can only be described as a bum who didn't 🚿. All this happens within 2-3 hours after wearing. Casual shirt for a long day.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Almost never

Comfortable shirt for a tall man

In general, I liked the purchase. The only thing I would like to improve is to make the shirt a little longer. I'm 6ft 5in so I like my shirts a little longer than most. This shirt is only marginal, but it's so good when you try it on that I had to give it up. I like the fact that the shirt has more than a few colors to choose from, I can buy another one in a different color and then advise, but now yes buy the shirt.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Some problems

Like it except for the embroidered logo

This is one of my favorite shirts. Fit and looks are excellent. Wince and other features work as usual. The shirt can easily be "spot cleaned" with a little soap, water and a hand scraper. It dries quickly. The only thing I don't like compared to my other similar shirts is the fact that the logo is embroidered on the chest and I can feel the back of the seam rubbing against my chest. So minus one. Otherwise excellent.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Not sure

Perfect shirt just sent the wrong size

The shirt is excellent. The shirt gets 5 stars. This is my husband's favorite piece for gardening or any hot, sweaty job. The reason for the rating is that I keep ordering 3xt and get the wrong size. They also sent me a different color than I chose but I don't care what color we get but we need 3XT. I received a 2xl once and a 4xl once so I had to return and reorder both times. Otherwise this is a fantastic shirt that is breathable and great for any outdoor man!

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • I don't remember

You can no longer buy Meeker Peak t-shirts in easy-to-hold-on material

I have Columbia t-shirts and long sleeve t-shirts that are five years old and still do are in good condition. I bought 4 Meeker Peak t-shirts, 3 of them already have material defects and are not allowed to be worn in public. I don't play sports or anything out of the ordinary. I can't imagine why Columbia would make clothes from a material that is so prone to snags. I will not be buying Columbia online again unless I see the shirt in person.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Fell apart on first use

Began to fall apart on first use. Ordered 7 of these for a 6 week hike. Five of the seven didn't even live to see the first wash! The threads protrude from the seams, and the slightest friction causes the fabric to constantly get dirty and begin to unravel even in the middle of the shirt. Shame the material lacks durability as it's incredibly comfortable and dries quickly. I will not buy these again. If I hadn't been abroad immediately after ordering, I would have sent them all back. After two…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not the best

Pills and bullets I've never seen

Shirts wick sweat/moisture and stay dry. I've had a lot of these shirts over the years, but it looks like they've changed the weave (or knit? I don't know) and these new ones get the pills and the puffs from looking at them. Walk past a thorny bush? Expect a thread to be pulled. Look at the sticky side of the velcro? You now have a filled area. Bring something heavy to your body for a few steps (take a look at Crossfit), now the shirt shows where you touched it. I've had other Columbia wicking…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Zero

Gray market item for sport shirts and t-shirts

I used to have trouble ordering clothes from Revain but I've come across counterfeits. Since then I have only ordered items that are supplied and sold by Revain but these shirts have escaped their security check and are most likely a gray market item. This is why (1) the real Columbia shirt is priced too good to be true (2) the shirt is practically transparent. If you bring it to a light source, the light will go through. So there's no reason to believe this shirt has an SPF of 15 or so, and…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
