fishing boat. I take my personal gear very seriously. I recently bought a pair of Tamiami PFG moccasins. I have just returned from my first sea voyage in them and am extremely unhappy with the grip of the soles on the boat's deck surfaces. I kept slipping all weekend and nearly fell off the boat due to lack of traction. I will not wear new shoes that I just spent close to $100 on because I know it's only a matter of time before I injure myself seriously or worse wearing them.

These shoes are very comfortable and look stylish. The grip on the outsole of the shoe is amazing! I highly recommend them!

Using the size chart on the Columbia website was able to determine the exact fit the first time. These shoes are stylish, very breathable and comfortable. I usually need a break-in period with hiking boots, but I didn't need it here. I've used them for hiking and so far have been very impressed with the grip and traction on rocks and sandy surfaces. The only complaint I have is that after 20 hours of walking some of the glue on the toe cap is no longer sticking to the sole.

These shoes are great. I bought her for fishing but used her to sail down the river with my family and just go for a walk. They drain water well. Sand does not easily flow out of small holes, but the water runs off quickly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great shoe that breathes well whether in the water or for everyday use.
