🎣 Columbia PFG Dorado Regular Electrofishing Review

I like the style and comfort of the shoes, but the workmanship is poor. After 4 wears, the sides of the sole started to peel off the fabric. I personally just add some glue but for the price I wasn't expecting that.

I regularly fish my boat in the Gulf of Mexico. It could be an awkward situation. This shoe holds up well. I throw them in the laundry with the rest of my gear every trip. This is my 2nd pair. The first pair lasted 1 year. Comfortable and offer excellent grip on wet roads. They don't hold water.

Nice comfortable shoes. I've been using them for a few weeks and they are very comfortable. They dry very quickly. On a soft sole it is comfortable to stand without feeling pain. The only complaint would be that they can get smelly if worn dry for long periods of time.

Brand new shoes that have been worn for 2 days and now the sole is falling apart. I barely made it 1/2 way around the resort. I absolutely cannot recommend this shoe. I'm disappointed to work for a company as respected as Columbia. These shoes don't last a day or so. Just looking for other options.

I like it very much and very comfortable, but after a month of wearing the seam the seam came undone and there was a hole in the sock area. Now the other boat starts to do the same. I'm disappointed because I really liked the look, feel and style of the shoe. They also allow my feet to breathe, which was difficult.

Larger than ordinary shoes. The rubber outsole, while comfortable, separates from the mesh upper on the sides, where the outsole flexes with the foot. I had to glue each side of each shoe. Very cheaply made, does not live up to the quality standards of other Columbia units I own. In addition, today I wound her for fishing and did not even catch anything. Obviously the shoes are the culprit. I should have just bought some Crocs.

As a charter fisherman I am on my feet all day on the boat. My shoes are very important for traction and stability. These shoes are great. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is that the shoes hold a little more water than I like, but I'm picky and sometimes wear them 8-16 hours a day. Great shoes and the price couldn't be better. I'll probably buy a few more pairs to make sure I have backups.

Buying shoes has never been easy for me as I usually only wear boots. Columbia Dorado shoes are a bold exception to the rule. Extremely comfortable with or without socks and offer more grip than the best Pirellis money can buy. My feet are always well ventilated and dry quickly after soaking them in water. To be honest I would have a hard time finding shoes I like better than these. Don't tell my boots!
