Columbia Powder Puffer Jacket X Large Boys' Clothing Review

We have had this jacket for less than 45 days. It's good because it's lightweight and easy to wash. The bad thing is the zipper broke this morning when my 7 year old son was trying to zip it up, causing him to pass out and leaving us with a broken jacket!

The best coat for a boy! We bought this as a gift for my 6 year old son. It is durable and very warm. We live in Idaho and the weather can be very unpredictable, this jacket is perfect for that.

Bought size M for my 8 year old son. The jacket is of excellent quality, very durable and the hood fits the face well and protects against the cold.

I ordered it a while ago but didn't want to write a review until we've used it for its intended purpose. We live in Costa Rica and where we live is almost always 85F. We bought this jacket for our tropical 5 year old boy and it was in perfect condition throughout our trip to Chicago - yes, frosty, windy Chicago! Great jacket. We're layered of course, that helped, but this jacket was perfect because it's not bulky at all. So our son was very comfortable but very warm. Excellent product.

The description doesn't match. First of all it's not necessarily a boys jacket, ours is pink, they should just say baby because they had all sorts of colors. The material is absolutely not waterproof and quite thin! It also gets dirty very easily.

However, it's fairly snug through the body AND doesn't *repel* water. My son wore this recently when it rained and I thought he would be ok with this (and with an umbrella) but ended up getting wet and the fabric soaked through the fabric. :( But the blue and yellow colors are really pretty and bright. I would say wear a tight shirt underneath. Don't think a thick sweater is comfortable as the jacket is too tight on the body.

We live in a snowy, cold area. This is a great lightweight and warm coat. If layered, it can probably be worn all winter. It's cropped on the thin side, so I'd recommend going up the size. Orange as pictured. My son loves this!

Light and warm. I really like that it can be easily slipped into a school backpack without being too bulky. The only downside is that the pockets aren't very deep, but despite this issue I will buy again.

This product was for my two year old son and I wanted it to last a while so I bought a size 3 which was a little big but still wearable. This jacket is very durable and very well made. It's not necessarily a boys' jacket if they don't like black and purple. I bought the black one with purple trim for my 5 year old daughter.

It arrived very quickly and was in perfect condition. My daughter loves it, it's her favorite color. It is very difficult to find a good green coat that is clearly gender neutral. It's super light and doesn't compress anything. But it keeps them warm on our desert trek. I love this coat and it fits her a bit better giving her enough room to wear and wear it all season long.

This coat was a gift for my son, he wears 2T so his grandma originally bought 2T. The 2T was very small so we sent it back and ordered a 3T and it barely fit. This coat is VERY small. You need to go at least 2 sizes up to avoid wear. Overall I'm disappointed with how small it is, otherwise it's a good coat.

I bought this coat because it's thin enough for a car seat. The coat is actually very thin as per all the other reviews. However, my kids (ages 4 and 6) now refuse to wear the thicker coat I bought for colder weather because other coats are much bulkier. They even say that in our -20 degree days they are warm enough in these fur coats! My children assure me that they are very warm! The coat fits perfectly and looks great. This makes it warm and windproof, but not too bulky. The hood fits close to the face which is nice as my son doesn't wear hats. Overall a great coat!

I love this jacket! Purple is so beautiful. This is definitely a girls jacket and it was very comfortable and warm for my daughter. Have worn it with fleece underneath in freezing weather and felt fine today

This will be the third Powder Lite jacket I've bought for my daughter. It fits perfectly, it has good hand pockets, it fits well under the car seat and it's warm! Love love love this jacket now only if I could get it in my size!
