My toddler is 11 and has little leeway. So I figured out the size and bought 12 babies so she would have room for warm socks and enough for the whole winter. BUT the 12 had absolutely no wiggle room. So I will return them 2 sizes larger than their actual shoe size.

Comfortable durable boots. Easy on/off. Great for adults too. I wear women's 6.5 wide pants and they fit perfectly in a size 6. Have only worn the bottoms of the last two pairs after a few years.

They are very difficult to put on the baby's leg. The felt liner is really hard and a chubby foot gets stuck in and then tries to fit the foot AND the liner into the boot. Well it's impossible. Maybe one size fits more?

I like these boots so far. We haven't had any snow yet, but here's what I know. They have a durable rubber outsole that wraps around your foot like a raincoat. Great shoes you can't go wrong with. I'm only giving 4 stars because the lining on my son gets chipped off or stays on the leg when he takes his legs out and puts them back in. My son is in school and last year he was in kindergarten. Of course I was afraid that his shoes would be taken off and put on again at school, but everything worked out. The boots look very sturdy and durable. It goes high enough that snow doesn't get in unless you intentionally pour in snow and water. There is an inner shell which my kid described as comfortable. It can be easily removed for cleaning. They're a little heavier. And they look huge. My child wears a youth size 3.
