Literally the coolest shirt you can afford!

I have about two dozen Columbia fishing shirts. They live in southwest Florida and are nearly uniform given the heat and humidity you would expect from life in a reclaimed swamp. However, this relatively new Tamiami has definitely become my new favorite. In addition to excellent absorbency, they do not stick to the body at the first sign of sweating (nasty). But what I particularly like is that the shirts use a material that is both very light and porous, so you get the maximum cooling effect…

but Bahama S is perfect for me

Columbia PFG are my favorite summer shirts. I've tried all 4 styles and based on comfort and convenience I'm rating them as (1) Tamiami II; (2) Bahamas; (3) blood and entrails; (4) Fool. Nos. 1 and 3 - polyester; 2 nylon and 4 cotton. 1 and 3 don't wrinkle at all, 3 and 4 yes. I noticed that the Bahama cut is a bit looser - I usually wear an M, but the Bahama S is perfect for me. On the other hand, Tamiami's style is more appropriate; So S is too tight and M is just right for me. The fabric is…

Delivery on arrival preferably in Man

Arrived yesterday. I opened the package and tried the shirt on. The landing was perfect. At the corner of my breast pocket, I noticed a white spot about the size of a coin. it was sticky. It was gum! It was mint flavored chewing gum on the white mesh of the bag! How about a new shirt? Knowing this was a limited supply, I spent over an hour trying to get as much white gum from the mesh pocket lining as I could. What a mess! I'll try cleaning again today. Needless to say, not happy. My favorite shirts for weekends and outdoor activities

I've worn smelly synthetic shirts for years while hiking, kayaking, camping etc. but that doesn't mean you like it. Then I discovered merino wool shirts that changed the game - the 150 weight is supremely comfortable in hot or cold weather and resists rot like no other, even after 2-3 days in the woods. But after spending so much on a t-shirt, you'll be shocked at the durability. Wool shirts are not as durable. I chose Columbia Tamiami/Silver Ridge/etc. Shirts for several reasons, none of which

No worse than other designs.

I've looked at other Columbia shirts because my husband wears them almost every day in the summer. I had quite a few colors and designs for it. He loves them because they're literally really cool. He used to like Under Armour, another brand, more, but this other brand has an almost 25% bigger price difference. Columbia shirts are very light, so it is very convenient to keep them in your luggage. I am comparing 2 types of similar t-shirts, I saw another person do it this way and it is really…

Perfect workmanship and very light

Update: Worn in the South Pacific: stains wash out 100% with ease. Dries quickly in tropical conditions. The sizes are a little big, not much. The fabric is a dense ripstop polyester with a slight stretch. The processing is impeccable. Ironically, this shirt, with all of its pockets, vents, and other comparatively complex constructions, weighs less than a similarly sized rugged tee and is noticeably cooler, but it's said to have an SPF of 40. The substance contains (quaternary filter)…

Best shirts of all time Shirts

At the moment, judging the Tamiami II as a good shirt is like saying the Dalai Lama or Pope Francis is a good person. Few sane people disagree. This is hands down the most comfortable shirt for hot weather. They are light and silky soft. They are durable too. I have a few that are 7-8 years old and still work. I don't think they magically wick moisture away. But once sweaty through, they dry much quicker than others. My only regret is that many of the wonderful flowers they produce are made in…
