easy to wash (beige shirt looked like .

I'm usually a size smaller (5'5", 130 lbs) but this shirt runs quite large. Had to order XS, but even that is too roomy However, no one wants a tight or constricting field shirt, so the XS fits me well Breathable, quick drying, easy to clean (beige shirt looked rough.) After two days of hiking through the African jungle - fully covered in Mud, some blood (it was scraped off) and plant stains! - but a quick hand wash in the sink with soap and all the stains came out).

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other options

Colombia's best casual shirt

These Bahama shirts tend to be oversized. I wear a large size for all shirts, but I always order a medium size for Bahamian short sleeve shirts. The short sleeve version seems to work as expected so the plus size fits well. I love this new Tiki Pink. The color is light peach (lighter than the picture in the product description). I am very happy with this purchase, especially the color! The only shirts I wear now are these Bahamas. I think I have all the colors now. These shirts are very…

Performance shirt with pockets and UPF 30+ sun protection

This is my third Columbia women's Bahama long sleeve shirt. I bought this particular paint (fossil) specifically for working in the garden or photographing in more difficult locations; ie I wanted a special shirt that I wouldn't worry about. I wear it over other clothes for sun protection. The collar can be buttoned up for protection from the sun and unbuttoned when there is no sun. The sleeves can be folded down or rolled up as shown. The two Velcro pockets are a reasonable size for what I…

The fabric is too heavy for me and feels less breathable than alternatives

I was expecting the shirt to be roomy and loose as it is - I think it's designed to allow air can circulate around your body - but I didn't. Don't expect such a heavy, dense fabric. I believe it offers excellent SPF 50 sun protection, but I was also looking for a light, breathable shirt. Just wearing it at home (temp 68 degrees) didn't feel cool and I can't imagine being comfortable in the northern Arizona heat this summer. I use the Columbia Tamiami II which is much lighter and feels more…

The perfect UPF shirt for everyday activities

This Bahama Columbia women's long sleeve shirt is exactly what I was looking for to provide UV protection for my everyday activities. I'm a photographer and gardener in the very sunny New Mexico high desert and was looking for sun protection clothing. Over the years I've tried other sun shirts that I've never worn because they were either ugly or impractical. This shirt has two pockets with velcro closure. It can be worn with the long sleeves down and buttoned up, or with the sleeves rolled up.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Zero

Now I feel like I'm out in the fresh air!

I ordered this shirt after a trip to the state park convinced me I was going out completely. I like being outdoors more in the sense that I like getting drunk on patios, but I'm more outdoorsy. I didn't wear it for about 3 months, but then I wore it kayaking and working on my aunt's farm and then hiking in the Olympic mountains. a fitted shirt for hiking or kayaking. I'm really impressed with the build quality, the rubber buttons feel indestructible. As I swam in it, I was pleased that the…

Functional and fun shirt UPF 30

This is the second women's Bahama long sleeve shirt from Columbia that I have purchased this month and I am ordering a third. I've been looking for sun protection clothing for years and have never found one to wear more than once or twice at any price. When the first such shirt arrived (with the Collegiate Navy) I knew it was a shirt I would wear regularly and immediately ordered one in Isla from another supplier. I live in the very sunny high desert of New Mexico and am a photographer and…
