The lid is well made and everything, it has to be protected when welding, so I didn't like the convenience, I think it has to be done by something thick to be protective. I wouldn't buy it again because I was looking for something that would make wearing a helmet less uncomfortable.

I was expecting a hat with a sweatband, this one doesn't have one. Twice as expensive as any welding shop. Miller hats from the same manufacturers are thicker. This one will do, but I hate how the rough cotton rubs against my sweaty forehead when I'm sweating in the summer. The size was right, but the value for money was not right.
