This is a great antenna. Works great on 2M and 440. Very well constructed, the BNC connector fits great, is extremely flexible making it very strong, difficult to break or permanently bend. I strongly recommend this antenna to the SMA-24 variant. If your radio has an SMA connector, get a BNC adapter and use that, it's a much better connection.

In a non-scientific experiment (by accidentally plugging the head into the signal path) it has slightly worse reception performance than the Diamond RH77CA (which is approx same length and price ). However, I am very worried about bending the diamond. The Comet bends so I can toss it in my backpack without fear.

I bought this because I needed something that draws 20 watts. I wasn't expecting this thing to be SO flexible. You can almost tie a thing in a knot!

Antenna looks like a winner. It works way better than the standard 6 inch duck! But don't believe the company's earnings numbers. They list 2 meters as 1/4wl but they say the gain is 2.15dBi. This is a bit of a marketing ploy for those who read inattentively. But despite dubious advertising, I like the antenna. If you have a BNC setup, feel free to buy it.
