I bought these to make a hat border around my office. Of the 12 hooks, 3 remained. The surfaces were mostly clean and flat. I even put some of the hooks back in and pressed them very hard against the wall, but it still didn't help. The baseball cap probably weighs half a pound at most, and they'll come right off. Some made it a few days before falling, but most fell the first night I hung them. We have other great Command branded products. Extremely disappointed and not recommended.

I've used Command Strips on almost everything on the wall except very heavy items. My walls are textured but mostly flat, so I did my best to place the strips where they would have a flat surface. I also rubbed alcohol on the walls as…
