with others to give an idea that they should ONLY be used for very light items. I followed the instructions exactly. 7 hooks for keychains were attached to the painted wall. The hooks for the two heavier key sets fell off as the day progressed. We're not talking about the school janitor's keys, lol. Is it possible that the keys weigh just over half a pound? Possibly, but I don't have a scale to reliably check such a light weight in ounces. Unfortunately I had to replace them with plain white hooks, so now they don't look as pretty.
