Great filament dehydrator!

First I bought it to use as 3D printer filament. It has simple controls and is very easy to use. Small dehydrator, just what I wanted, doesn't take up too much space. Now I can dry my floss quickly and easily, it's been a great investment. It emits warm air quickly and I haven't had a single problem. I use a tray to hold the spool and print a wall to hold the filament and I can also use the lid which fits perfectly. I'm sure it's great for eating too.

Pretty affordable and perfect for drying 3D printer filaments.

Bought to dry 3D printer filament. I had to print a body extension to fit my coils (or you can cut the shells but that means you can't use them for anything else) but it's great for the job. I went with Thingiverse's expansion models - they're easy to find and even match that particular model number. Being in a not particularly wet area and not working too much with highly hydrophilic materials means I don't need to use them as often, but when I do I definitely see improvements in my prints…

The fan died after 50 hours of operation (not consecutive).

I bought this to dry some of my PETG and PLA filaments for my 3D printer as I live in Washington and have been on the west side which has had non-stop rain for four months at this time of year. with thread. Needless to say, it got saturated and I *hoped* to use it for drying. One problem with this plan: PETG takes about 65°C (149°F) to dry properly, and the dehydrator only gets to 45°C after that. 4 hours work. I have a quick fix if you hear fan screeching! Still the best $30 spent!

Listen! I've had mine for about 3 months now and since it's so cheap you don't usually get what you pay for. Please take my experience so you can understand what happened. I thought something was going to happen and tonight it finally happened. The fan inside lightly touched the white case inside, causing the fan to slow down. If you hear yours chugging, you have the same problem as me. Here's the kicker, they made them with 4 Phillips screws on the bottom and a triangular head. Luckily, last…
