Amazing powerband, great torque from idle to 6800rpm. On a stock block, stock LM7 compression (5.3L) with intake and full exhaust. Struggles to get traction but when hooked pulls like a freight train.

Excellent sound quality and significant increase in performance. You will want to customize it. I installed it on a 2002 Pontiac Trans am with a 5.7hp engine and had to increase spark, increase fuel and increase idle speed to make it manageable.

Fantastic camera for the 5.3 model in my Datsun. With the stock engine, the car produced 328 hp. / 336 HP on the wheels (see photo of the dynamometer). The engine really woke up the engine and the car has fantastic mid to high power but is still extremely road friendly. However, this camera needs adjustment. My car didn't idle until I adjusted it, but now it idles very well. I like this camera for my setup

Comp Cams are popular in the industry for good reason. A well thought-out package. The cam sounds amazing, performs great and packs power everywhere. I bought a 212/218K kit for my 2007.5 Silverado with a 5.3 liter engine. I've used it to remove AFM/DOD and couldn't be happier. Works great when you want some performance from your daily driver. Gives more power and sounds great. I paired it with a MBRP stainless steel exhaust. It doesn't need to be set up after installation, but if you want to get the most out of it, set it up! Very happy with my purchase!
