The camshaft peaked at 478.2 lb-ft at 5000 rpm and 506.9 hp. at 6100 and 6200 rpm

LS2 V8 with Competition cams 54-426-11 XFIRPM Hi-Lift XR275HR-12 cam for LS Gen III/IV with COMP cams 26918-16 Beehive springs. The XFI RPM Hi-Lift XR275HR-12 is a member of this series and the second most popular LS-style comp camera. This camera still has to be happy with the dome heads and stock; You don't have to do a lot of extra work on the motor to get the power. However, Comp recommends at least their PN 26915 valve spring. This cam didn't release anything at low-mid RPM, but it released a peak of 478.2 lb-ft at 5000 rpm and 506.9 hp. at 6100 and 6200 rpm. The engine developed over 400 lb-ft at 3100-6700 rpm, over 400 hp. at 4600 rpm and more than 500 hp at 5800-6500 rpm. Continue reading: [.]
