A little watery for patches

Good product. I needed a small amount of glue to fix a crack in my vinyl floor. I was hoping it would be a little thick, like a seal. It's actually more like a liquid milkshake. So when applying, be sure to wipe off excess product. You should weight the repair down a bit to keep it in place. Bonding was great after he healed so he did his job!

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Unsatisfied - Flooring

I used this to try and stick the stick on the tile to the laminate. I installed these sticks on tile about a year ago and love the look of them, but I have one that wants to show up in a corner. I was hoping that this product would be the solution, but even after carefully following the directions, weighing the tile and allowing sufficient time for drying, the tile still wouldn't stick. I ended up with a sticky mess rather than anything (that I could live with if my tiles were "fixed"). Failed!

Henry sticks - especially in the packaging

Henry's glues are always with you. I used them in the early 1970's when I was studying the flooring trade. It was great then, just like it is now. The bad rating is not related to the product but to the delivery. The screw cap on the bottle was loose and the glue leaked into the packaging. What a sticky mess! Since it was still damp, I was able to clean the bottle with citrus cleaner and fix the seam that the fitters didn't tape with glue. I highly recommend Henry the seller --- not much!

  • It's amazing

It didn't work, it wasn't fast, it wasn't easy, it wasn't worth it.

The size of the bottle suggests it's good for small fixes and quick fixes, but it's not. If you have vinyl floors, this is not a quick or easy fix. I followed the tea's directions and even placed a large paving stone directly on the treated areas, which peeled off in less than a month. This only works if you use other floor treatment products and adhesion primers. I swept out the dirt and used a sticky cloth to remove any dirt or debris and the floor returned to its original condition and…

Great glue, easy to use.

In early January 2015, on a cold winter morning, a small pipe broke. Five months later, a vinyl tile at the very edge where the water was beginning to recede. I looked at Loews and Home Depot and all they had was quarts or gallons of vinyl glue, which was way more than I needed for just one tile. So I searched Amazon and found this product. I pulled out the loose tile, applied the glue as directed and waited 15 minutes before reattaching the tile. I placed the brick on top of the tile and the…

I strongly advise you NOT to buy this useless junk!

I posted a review last night that I felt was inappropriate. I was so angry that the product didn't work as advertised that I named it Diluted Elmer's Glue. Unfortunately not even that high quality. Tonight I applied another coat of this "glue" using the recommended roller. I then put hand weights on the curved edges to try to get it to work. This is still not the case. In summary, this glue does NOT work. I spent $10 on this product when I might as well have spent $0.99 on super glue from the…

Worked great. I had a relatively new sheet of linoleum that curled up.

Worked great. I had a fairly new sheet of linoleum that was curled up in places. I used this along with a syringe to inject the glue under the linoleum. I used two different syringe sizes, 30ml and 50ml depending on the size of the area. The trick I found is to use a razor blade and make a very small slit in the linoleum, then carefully insert a syringe and inject the glue into the linoleum. Directions you can not spoil the linoleum. I then ran my hand over the linoleum to spread the glue and…

Fantastic product in building materials

Absolutely amazing product; This is exactly what you need to reattach the vinyl floor and it works quickly. A few sections in the middle of my floor were unattached and some of the edges were curling. For the center bottom section I made a 0.5" cut in the vinyl, used a screwdriver to pry it up, inserted the tip of the glue and squirted a copious amount, then placed tape over the cut and pressed put the vinyl back on the floor, smoothed it out and then placed it on the load for 24 hours. The…
