I bought this to use in my car, normal car mounts didn't fit and the large clip on this mount seems perfect for attaching to my console. That works great. However, the description says it fits phones up to 3.7 inches wide and my phone with the case is 3.4 inches and the holder barely opens enough to hold the phone . If your phone is larger, it may not fit.
