Description of Competition Engineering C2750 Shock Absorber

Fits; Ford Mustang 1979-’04, Mercury Capri 1979-’86, Ford Fairmont 1978-’83, Granada 1981-’82. Competition Engineering’s 3-Way Adjustable Drag Shocks are designed to allow the racer to dial-in the race car to meet changing track conditions. Shock valving plays a very important role in the way your car will perform both during initial launch and throughout the quarter mile. The principle behind our shock absorber design is to allow the front end of the race car to rise rapidly upon initial launch, creating greater weight transfer and better traction to the rear tires. As the car travels down the track, the front end will gradually descend to its ride height without unloading the rear tires which is a major cause of wheel spin. Our rear shocks work in conjunction with our front shocks making the transition from initial launch to top end charge as smooth as possible. Competition Engineering’s Front Drag Shocks are adjustable in three ratios: 90/10, 80/20 and 60/40. These ratios reflect the percentage of force required to extend and compress the shock absorber. You can quickly change the valve setting by simply compressing the shock fully and rotating the shaft until the indexing notch mates with the desired setting on the body. It’s as simple as twist and click. Our Rear Drag Shocks are also adjustable in three ratios: 70/30, 60/40 and 50/50. These ratios also represent the percentage of force required to compress and extend the shock unit. Only this time, the first number is compression and the second extension. These shocks also adjust by compressing them fully and rotating to the desired setting on the body.

Disappointing Performance of Shock Absorber

As a result of using this product, I found that it did not provide the necessary shock and vibration control for my equipment. The ride was still bumpy and rough, and I experienced a lot of vibration. The only positive thing I can say is that the installation was easy..

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Poor shock and vibration control

Not Worth the Purchase: A Disappointing Product

I had high hopes for this item, let's call it "EZ-Chop". The product had so much potential to make my cooking and meal prep easier .However, after using it for the first time, I was completely let down. The "EZ-Chop" proved to be difficult to use and didn't provide the promised efficiency..

Pros
  • The blades were supposed to be sharp and glide through my veggies with ease, but instead, the blade became dull after only a few uses. It was almost like trying to chop with a butter knife. The product also felt cheaply made and wasn't durable at all. The handle detached from the blade midway through use, which was frustrating.
Cons
  • Overall, I was incredibly disappointed with "EZ-Chop". It sounded like a revolutionary product, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to its expectations. I would not recommend this product to anyone, save your money and invest in a more reliable and efficient product.

Good brand, works well.

Putting them on an '88 Mustang seems to work well. They're not as adjustable as the weird 10 ways, it's just three settings.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Long Lead Time
