Description of Complete Your Culinary Arsenal With Our Set Of 6 Cooking Twine For Meat, Poultry, And Vegetables - Heat-Safe, Elastic, And Silicone Butchers Ties

HOLD FOOD SECURELY: The unique ball through hole system of these butcher's twine ties holds food securely while needed, but can also be easily released. SAVE MONEY: Never buy butchers twine again. MULTI-USE: This food grade silicone is stable at temperatures from -40 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing you to use them in the freezer for long term food storage, as well as in a rotisserie oven, smoker, slow cooker, and traditional oven at a high temperature. They can be used for roasting, boiling, and frying. SAFE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY: 100% food grade silicone that meets European standards, exceeding the purity required by the FDA. BPA free. NO RISK: You're covered by Cestari Kitchen's lifetime "no questions asked" warranty.

Type of review

I don't write reviews often, but I had to this time. The fact is, these silicone butchers twine ties are a GREAT Investment.I cook a lot. And I've dealt with cooking asparagus, collards, and mustard greens (good ol' southern cookin'!) for the longest time. It's honestly a real pain in the butt because I can NEVER get those last few leafs or asparagus spears out of the pot without submerging my hands in the boiling water! It really wasn't practical to use regular butcher's twine Every Time I…

Pros
  • SAVE MONEY: Never buy butchers twine again. These silicone ties are reuseable, unlike ordinary cotton or linen string. The bright colored nonstick silicone tie makes it easy to see the twine and remove it quickly, unlike traditional butchers twine that can get baked in, ripping the skin of a chicken or turkey when removed.
Cons
  • The cooking twine may not be as durable as other kitchen tools, necessitating frequent replacements

You will no longer need a third hand!

You will no longer need a third hand when trying to tie up your favorite dish using these Silicone Butchers Twine from Cestari Kitchen. It is so simple and easy. These are a time saver and make your preparation so much quicker. All you need to do is thread the ends together to make a loop and when you need to slip it around whatever you are tying, just pull the one end to securely close it up and you are done! When using twine in the past I have spent too much time cutting and pulling off the…

Pros
  • Potholders & Oven Mitts
Cons
  • The heat-safe feature may not be as effective as advertised, putting the user at risk for burns and injuries

Mostly works as stated, the twines come loose easily but I am able to stretch them and tuck them back in to themselves with good results. We use this in our rotisserie, the twines do not burn or break from the heat.

Pros
  • Cooking Twine 01
Cons
  • The elastic feature may not be strong enough to keep items secure during cooking, leading to uneven cooking and resulting in a subpar dish

The best way to truss a chicken

I've been using twine forever until I found this silicon twine, very easy to wrap and lock right in place, Just like a wire tie for food, what a great idea, something I can use again and again. So much cleaner than the dusty twine in the cabinet. Now I can truss my chicken flat out with ease. I will try on stuffed flank steak next.

Pros
  • Easy to use and cleans up in the dishwasher
Cons
  • The cooking twine may not be as versatile as other kitchen tools, limiting its use

Best ONLY for chicken

Very difficult to use on a pork roast. Chicken I can see would be easy. Had to go back to twine to secure roast with my seasoning to stay inside

Pros
  • Si me agrado
Cons
  • Does not hold very well

Easy and economical to use.

I recently made a pork roast and used the silicone butchers twine to tie it together. I worked great! It was easy to use and cleanup was quick. Just put them in the silverware basket of the dishwasher. The butchers twine was easy to use and it did not stick to the meat or the baking pan while cooking. I would definately recommend this product

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • The set of 6 may not be as cost-effective as other kitchen tools on the market

Do not stay closed in my review

They did not stay secure and kept opening. First time I used them was to make roulades. Didn't work. The silicone stretches to much and slips right through the closure. I'm returning them.

Pros
  • Does the job
Cons
  • The elastic feature may not be strong enough to hold certain cuts of meat or vegetables together

Silicone butcher’s twine is Devine!

These silicone butcher's twine ties have totally replaced cotton cooking string in my kitchen. They are reusable, can be baked in the oven, and can also be frozen! Where have they been all my life?

Pros
  • These are great for many baking uses. They also cleaned easily. No waste.
Cons
  • The silicone butchers ties may be prone to wear and tear after repeated use

Worked very well for my opinion

Worked very well on my 25.5 lb. Thanksgiving turkey. By stringing 2 ties together, I was bale to easily get around the bird to hold the wings and the legs in place. The only reason for 4-stars instead of 5 is that you definitely need to use knots to keep the bird trussed. Unlike the similarly designed annoying retail tag holders, these come apart very easily unless you use at least a half hitch to secure them. I've used rubber band type ties in the past but was never sure what they were made…

Pros
  • MULTI-USE: This food grade silicone is stable at temperatures from -40 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing you to use them in the freezer for long term food storage, as well as in a rotisserie oven, smoker, slow cooker, and traditional oven at a high temperature. They can be used for roasting, boiling, and frying.
Cons
  • The cooking twine may be difficult to work with for those who are inexperienced in the kitchen
