I wish they were a little tighter at the joints, but I would be concerned that downsizing will cut off blood flow to the wrist and fingertips. I am SO happy with these gloves! I was looking for good compression that isn't too tight. I am chubby. I'm 5ft 1in and 214lbs so my arms are a bit chubby.
