They are comfortable to wear and have "enough" compression. I wish they were a little tighter at the joints, but I would be concerned that downsizing will cut off blood flow to the wrist and fingertips. My hands are large for a woman and range between medium and large, so I went for medium. They're quite comfortable overall, but after wearing them all day, the crease between my thumb and hand was VERY sore and irritated/burned to the point of redness, although I didn't notice it until I got ready for bed. I think it's the seams so today I'm going to turn them inside out and see if that solves the problem. I'll come back to report on this when I remember LOL. Overall they are a good buy for the price. The material itself is very non-irritating and very breathable, which bothered me a bit. Fits and works like a thick cotton glove. Maybe the compression wasn't medical, but it was still soothing and supportive enough. Again, these are my first compression gloves so I really have no comparison.
