Wasted my money can't make it work with my car although I have other remote start devices from the same company of the same brand that just don't work then empty waste of money

It was a gamble for me because I had no idea if the remote start system in my truck worked. I bought it used and found the system was only there a few months ago. It's worth the risk knowing I now have remote start and keyless entry. I wish there was a two-way remote instead, but that might be upgraded in the future.

I lost the extra remote control to start the Compustar engine. I was confused. But I found this and followed the instructions and I got my truck up and running in 2 minutes, no kidding. I was very impressed that everything worked for me on the first try. I've followed the advice from previous reviews and made sure I have the original AM remote. Works just like my original. Thanks very much! I am very happy with my purchase.! I will buy again if I lose or need to replace my Remote.AAAtt plus!

Be sure to contact Compustar or find out who installed your remote start > find out which model your specific model supports. . If you have an old remote, compare the back to the model number on the back of your old remote. Only the one who has an antenna is removed. Bought a used truck and found an antenna behind the mirror that led to a black box under the driver's side dash. I looked at the model and found it to be Compustar's autorun. The dealer had no idea he had one, so there was no remote control. There were no IDs on the antenna so I had to dig around to find a compatible remote but it was a big surprise and for $24 not bad to be able to start the car. It would be nice to have more range and a warning or light to let you know the car is running or…
