Computer Case Fan Power Connector: 3-Pin Female to 4 x 3-Pin Male Adapter Cable with Black Sleeved Design Review

Does exactly what it was designed to do. However, I had a problem and it might be a hindrance for someone else. When my splitter arrived it didn't work. I used a multimeter to measure the voltage across the jacks and there was none. I cut off the sheathing and found that the black wire had come loose at the solder joint. I just re-soldered it and replaced the shrink wrap. Since then it has worked flawlessly. I don't expect everyone to have this issue, so I won't report it.

My motherboard only had one fan connector where you could adjust the fan speed. The other track was always running at full blast, which I felt was too loud. I bought this splitter and use it to power three 120mm case fans and it works great. Make sure you have a fan connected to the sensor's pin header as this is the only fan your motherboard will see. Bought 2 of these to connect to my Corsair 900d case. They're simple, turn 1 3-pin connection into 4. The downside is ordering 2, fully wiring your system to discover one of them is faulty. Tested on 2 different power connectors (1 mobo connector and 3 pins on Molex) and absolutely no power. 1 cable out of 2 works better than none, but it's a cable and there's not much to make it work.
