The API allows you to write software to manage this.

I like that the source code for the table control is available and with that and the documentation it's pretty easy for a programmer to write software to control the table over a USB serial connection. The only thing missing from much more expensive tables is a way to query the current angle, but with some careful use of control software this seems fairly easy to emulate.

documentation 0, literally almost no documentation. Website in Chinese! For real?;;; Even if you choose english it sucks. You can only spend a few days making the website user-friendly if you sell worldwide. What I needed to download was unclear. The information about the shooting signal is also confusing - this is NOT available on this model. It can be solved with the help of in-camera time-lapse. Not for 3D scanning.

1 star, looks like a child's toy. As another reviewer put it, Chinese electronics from the early 90's. The software is not included, you have to go to their website to download it (Chinese, fingers crossed you will get the right file). I downloaded 3 files before I got the 2 I wanted, one is "turntable.exe.gif" but windows doesn't open it so I renamed the file extension and removed the gif so it's an exe file was and Windows found malware, the other was the driver. Bought for an allegedly different purpose than what the device was intended for: making polar diagrams of audio equipment in a laboratory. The player is easy to manage with command scripts. It simply connects via WiFi and commands can be sent via any telnet client.
