The best iron!

Were fully satisfied with this iron. It doesn't have all the lights and whistles, but it can steam a lot of wash. I like to work fast and this is the first iron that keeps up with me. Ask Reven. I sent back some irons. I am very happy. Thank you Conair!

Pros
  • is clear even to the old
Cons

does not heat up in vacuums and floor care

I bought this quilting iron. The first two months worked well. Steam stopped working for the third month. The iron started leaving residue on the fabric - I only used filtered water. I stopped using the Steam feature. Now it has stopped heating. I am very disappointed in this $60 iron.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Expensive

Lasts 6 months best in steam cleaners, steam mops and accessories

This Conair iron has been a GREAT iron for my sewing and quilting - recommended to me by another seamstress. I liked the burst of steam and the soft beep to remind me it was going to turn itself off, but just the other day I turned it on and it spat, made electrical hissing noises and stopped working. This is the third iron I've bought in a short amount of time. ages 3+ for Tailoring (from $40-$100). In other cases, leaks or vapor/atomizer release stopped in less than 1 year.

  • Beautiful

Superbly strong iron in vacuum cleaners and floor care products

I was devastated when the hardware I had been using for the last 11 years finally stopped working. I've searched a lot online for a replacement and found to my dismay that the standards of many trusted brands have deteriorated in the past. I have a few other Conair products and they fit me well so I decided to try the Conair iron. I love it! Gives off a lot of vapor, does not splash or flow. It's hard, but I like it because it means I don't have to push as hard. I like titanium plates as they…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • ill thought out

Lousy hardware, bad customer service.

I bought this iron because I found it very good in terms of steam. Actually the vapor was good. However, the cable stopped working after two months. Conair's policy is that you must cut the cord and send them a photo before they process any claims. I did this (see my photo) and emailed them. Two weeks later they said they would send a new iron as soon as possible. A month later (we're already six weeks after cutting the umbilical cord) NOTHING - NOT A WORD when I call and they tell me it's in…
