I have a similar one at our home in Toronto but it has three settings and a cool down button and is way better. Don't Buy These

I've had several Conair Hair Dryers over the years and this one is just awful. It lost significant performance after a few uses and we had to upgrade to the next model. I have a similar one at our home in Toronto but it has three settings and a cool down button and is way better. Don't buy any of them. We liked the line because some of them are light and easier to hold for my wife who has MS.

Bought this little dryer almost exactly two years ago.

I bought this little dryer almost exactly two years ago and it has worked perfectly the whole time - not very fancy and wasn't expecting more from it. However - I didn't expect it to start smoking in earnest - as if intending to flare up - which it did tonight. Thank god there's no fire, but now it's a dead duck. For the money I think it was fine but I would caution potential owners to keep a close eye on it as mine probably wasn't the only one of these dryers with this potentially dangerous…

5/5 stars for leading products in the category. This lightweight, compact and slim hair dryer is a leader in price, design and functionality. I have short hair so I just curl it a little bit so don't worry about damaging the hair but be careful it gets hot in high heat. If you just flip your hair and wave the blow dryer, never stay in the same place and feel excessive heat on your scalp, this will be your method with this blow dryer. Imo there is no better blow for a blow dryer, this thing…

Great lightweight dryer especially if you have hand issues.

I am very satisfied with this hair dryer. I had it in my closet to replace the old one I was using. FINALLY the old one is gone. I pulled out my new Conair 1870. I immediately noticed how light this dryer was. As an older person, I got tired of holding my old dryer higher to dry my hair. I've tried putting my hand in different places but Oh! Wow! This smaller dryer allows me to hold it until I'm done with my task without resting my hand. I will be ordering another to put in my closet to replace
