Just got it and got scared when I turned it on because it's loud. I was surprised at how well this epilator worked considering my previous one was from a more expensive brand. This Conair works way better than my other one! I don't know how, but this epilator is also much less painful and removes all the hair in fewer strokes. However, it will not fully pull out hairs if they are too thin (same for my other epilator). But it's great for thicker hair (armpits).

I ordered this to replace my old Philips which cord is kinked and sometimes stops. This one has more tweezers but it's not as effective and I have to go through it a few times and the hairs are still there. I still use my Philips after that and it picks them up the first time. Too bad.
