This product runs on batteries only, so I had to change the batteries every night to keep using it continuously. I had to replace it or I would have to buy Energizer stock.

This sound machine is battery operated only. I have not opened the packaging so I am not evaluating the performance of the sound machine. I gave it a three as I use my current sound machine all night and without the adapter it would drain a lot of batteries.

This small and lightweight device is perfect for my needs. I use it when I meditate to sleep my grandchildren and to help myself sleep in a noisy house. Good sound selection and volume. I can even use the "heartbeat" sound as part of our Halloween decorations on Candy or Candy Night.

We love it, it helps control city noise. Not a fan of the light it gives off while you work, it seems a bit odd to have a bright light on something most people would use at night. Also, some sounds are very short and poorly edited, you can see the repetition. All in all a good affordable sound machine, maybe we'll upgrade to a nicer one in the future, but overall we're satisfied.

Rain and sea (surf) sounds help me fall asleep. Stream (murmur), midsummer night crickets and (native) songbirds are fine too. I find the heartbeat sound innovative because it can be used to soothe a baby alone in the cradle. Since I don't have a baby to try on, I can't say if that would help. Soft backlit controls are easy to use in the dark. You can just turn it on for always on or set it to turn off after 15, 30, 60 minutes.
