I bought the Silver Bird because my Yellow Bird was out of service. I've been using Yellowbird for years! If my yellow bird went out it would be my trip to Dryer I would get every time. Recently my Yellow Bird comb broke so I decided to upgrade and get a Silver Bird because I liked the Yellow Bird so much I knew I would like the Silver Bird a lot more. I was wrong! The first day I got it, the comb didn't hold up when I tried to dry my daughter's hair. The words "Sliver Bird" were also deleted…

I use this hair dryer intensively every day! 8+ hours, 5 days a week and it finally exploded after 3 or 4 years. Considering the price, I appreciate the quality and performance of this hair dryer. It's not difficult, but very powerful.

The comb that comes with the hair dryer is cheap, bends and defeats the purpose of a good hair dryer with a drying function. A spare comb attachment is sufficient.

This is the second one I've bought and it works for a while then starts to squeak and doesn't work. Both do the same. Don't buy this!

I am buying the dryer for the second time. This is for a long time. I had my last dryer for 5 years and it only broke because I dropped it really hard on the tile floor twice. It still worked, but I heard it didn't work very well, so I bought another one. If you need a diffuser, the Bio Ionic Universal Diffuser is perfect. This is the best hair dryer for thick hair and beauties with natural/curly hair texture. It's really strong. I do side cuts and this is perfect for heavy use.

This was the first time I bought a more expensive hair dryer. I've always used the under $20 ones you can buy at the drug store. I can't believe the difference in my hair! I no longer need a flat iron to get rid of frizz after drying. My hair becomes smooth and straight. This dryer is very powerful, so it takes half the time to dry. Definitely worth the price!

I had a silver bird for several years. I was very happy with it until the burning smell made me give it up. It's not the replacement. I noticed that the settings are disabled. The high seemed powerful, but the middle wasn't enough. Hot was too hot, but warm wasn't enough. I'm very disappointed so I'm sending it back.
