💇 Conair 12-piece Hair Clipper: Simplicity at its Best for Perfect Cuts Review

This thing is terrible. Doesn't cut well and smoothly, feels like part of my hair has been pulled out. I apply oil and keep it clean. I had the best Conair model for 8 years and it broke and then I bought this one. I don't use it for much other than cleaning the sides, but I'll look for something better and smash this one. Please spend another $10 for a device that works really well.

Instead of spending 4x on a dog clipper I just bought them. My dog is a retriever/terrier mix with a very coarse top coat. Taming her is a difficult task, so I bought this simple hair clipper to give her a nice haircut. It's not very loud so it doesn't startle her when I turn it on as long as I let her see it first. Easy to use and offers a great cut. It doesn't have any additional settings, but it does the job well.

I have the same problem as others. I've used it to shave about 5 times. Every time the performance drops. Whiskers are collected in the body. I have to remove the screws to lift the blade guard for cleaning. It's really annoying and I have 3 other clippers from another company that I've never had to do this with.

I'm just disgusted. Not only the box was damaged, but the scissors themselves! They were greasy, worn and mostly looked used. I even plugged them in and tried to see if they would work at all. EVERYONE! The engine is dead! I am shocked, outraged and want my money back!

Unfortunately, if you don't want to spend all day going to the same place 15-30 times. Choose $28-50. I got what I paid for and they go straight in the bin. I don't even think it's worth the sacrifice to say sorry. Nothing for animals, I haven't tried it on human hair but I can't imagine it being anything else.

Save your money and buy something else. I bought this clipper so my son could have his own clipper. He is 5 years old and hates getting his hair cut. I'm African American and he kept clinging to my curly hair. I wanted to get a short haircut without paying the barber every month. I went to Walmart for a store loan and bought another haircut that had a picture of a black man on the box. It worked and was easy to use.

Definitely not professional quality but still good value for money. At $14, it costs less than my regular haircut. The clippers are quite light, but this actually makes them easier to maneuver for amateurs. Hopefully it will last long enough to make it to the Covid-19 vaccine but even if it does need to be replaced from time to time it's still great value.

PROS: - Bought for $7.99 - Comes with lots of accessories. CONS: - Very weak motor COMMENTS: I was disappointed when the blades almost stalled while cutting my hair. The previous Conair I had must have been a more powerful version because I could turn my head as fast as I wanted without worrying about the blades sticking. ***UPDATE*** Last night while cutting my hair the blades stopped moving at all after just one use! I've tried turning it off and on but the blades get stuck. Terrible product!

I was skeptical at first because of the price. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. I cut my hair and it worked. I have thick, coarse hair. They slip through like butter. I couldn't be happier with that. If you're on a fence, take action. You're worth it.
