Wahl is a good brand to have around the house. It's a pretty good model, not as strong or harsh as the wired versions I've had. Unless you are an experienced barber, the blades are not sharp enough to achieve a really clean fade. On the plus side, it's quiet and wireless, which makes things a lot easier. Definitely recommend upgrading to a wireless but potentially more powerful model. Updated: After only a few uses, the model cannot be used wirelessly because the performance is greatly reduced.
