Contrary to what some of these reviews say, it is NOT easy to compress. Maybe it's for "normal" hands that don't feel pain, that don't see the difference between "squeeze" and "squeeze lightly". But not for people with sore hands looking for easy-to-squeeze bottles for household cleaners, shampoo, lotion, etc. If you have sore hands and are looking for bottles that squeeze easily, these aren't the droids you need. These are plastic bottles and they are cheap. They hold up well if you have a good seal, but that can be tricky because it's not very difficult to apply too much torque when closing the bottle to deform the bottle walls. Small red caps can be quite uncomfortable to take off. While they provide a good seal, they can be annoying to use. I was hoping to use these bottles to pour my (semi-famous) red wine vinaigrette dressing that we use almost every night. Unfortunately I have to send them back. After unpacking, I tested one with water. Its viscosity is lower than oil and vinegar, but not by much. The top didn't seem to fit well when I unscrewed it. I bought these for my shop to store acetone, mineral spirits, paint thinner etc. They work great. I had some concerns that they would eventually degrade due to the chemicals, but it's been about three weeks and there's no sign the chemicals will work on them. Great idea with them but they leak through the screw cap so if you turn them upside down to "squeeze" them you get mess all over the place and it ruins the whole experience. I give this product 2 stars because it really should seal better. However, I found a workaround. Purchase Teflon tape from a hardware store and wrap it around the threads of the bottle 5 to 10 times.
