Review on Convenient 16-Ounce Plastic Squeeze Condiment Bottles: Set of ๐Ÿถ 6 Wide Mouth Bottles with Red Tip Cap - Pinnacle Mercantile by Will Bremer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Leaks (ruined the whole experience)

Great idea with them but they leak through the screw cap so if you turn them upside down to "squeeze" them you get mess all over the place and it ruins the whole experience. I give this product 2 stars because it really should seal better. However, I found a workaround. Purchase Teflon tape from a hardware store and wrap it around the threads of the bottle 5 to 10 times. It seems to seal well so there is no leakage through the threads. It's annoying, but hey, it works pretty well. If there's a workaround, I love having these bottles in the kitchen, especially for things like oil and vinegar for salads. I pour plain syrup into one and use it for coffee/tea. I pour in honey (honey is a bit thick so it doesn't come out easily, but still better than with a spoon). I pour oil into another and use it when I grill. It's a bit easier and faster than brush IMO. Finally, I use one for a cornstarch/water mixture that I use for cooking. If you go this route, you just find that the cornstarch and water separate after a while, so you need to shake it well before using it (and if you shake it, make sure you use the teflon tape trick , otherwise there will be chaos everywhere).

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
