These are plastic bottles and they are cheap. They hold up well if you have a good seal, but that can be tricky because it's not very difficult to apply too much torque when closing the bottle to deform the bottle walls. Small red caps can be quite uncomfortable to take off. While they provide a good seal, they can be annoying to use. They're not fun to clean, the bottle shape makes it difficult to get in, and the brittle plastic makes me wonder if I should put them in high temperature environments. They survived a brief boil when I was sterilizing some of them for syrups, so I might be overly suspicious. Maybe try a brush?
