This hat is warm, much warmer than the cheap hat you can find at Walmart and most chain stores. It's a bit grey, but winter is grey, so it works. The lining is very smooth and feels great on a freshly shaved head when I step outside. If it's very windy, some cold air will get inside, but less cold air than most other hats allow. It's also long enough to cover your ears without unfolding the folder section.
