Easy Installation - Electrical

Ideal for running low voltage/zero voltage wiring through walls with a finished look. Can be installed without access to the bolt

Pros
  • Industry Leading
Cons
  • Unreliable

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very inexpensive in home workshops. VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE on AMAZON.

Great mount, strong, easy to use but rip off for the price. There was no choice to buy. There was work, but local repair centers were not available. Bought, used, but paid 10 times more. Speaking of price gouging. Shame about Amazon

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Nothing here

Sturdy mount on mounts

This may cost a few dollars more than other identical mounts, but it's worth it. The plastic is durable and the mounting wings fit snugly against the back of the drywall. The ring doesn't warp when you attach it to the drywall, which keeps the screws for the escutcheon well aligned. Cheaper versions will curl when you tighten them. This one doesn't rotate. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Very expensive

Used to add wall panel for network connection

No surprises but not expected. It is a plastic frame with two tabs and screws. The key to success really is cutting a hole in the drywall. Take your time, watch some videos, use a saw that's fit for the job, not a steak knife. It should snap firmly into place, but without deforming the plastic. Take your time, preparation is the key to success.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Operating speed

Stable mount: Electric

This may cost a few dollars more than other identical looking brackets, but it's worth it. The plastic is durable and the mounting wings fit snugly against the back of the drywall. The ring won't warp when you attach it to the drywall, which means the screws for the bezel line up well. Cheaper versions will curl when you tighten them. This one doesn't rotate. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Open design for cable management | Swivel clips attach to existing wall panels
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly

Cutting the hole is the hardest part

This was a very easy install. The hardest part was cutting the hole, and it was easy to do with a sharp drywall saw. The bracket has a small hole in each corner to mark the edges with a pencil and then just use a ruler (or the edge of the bracket). ) to draw lines between markers. It doesn't have a built-in bubble level, so feel free to use your own, which might be built into your phone. Cut a hole, insert a strut into the hole, hold the small wing clamp if you need more screw control, and…

Pros
  • Quick and easy installation - all you need is a drywall saw and a Phillips screwdriver!
Cons
  • Expensive
