They look like good tyres, but I deducted a star for a small deformation which I didn't expect from this brand. fits well but choice is limited on 27" tires. It's not a lightweight tire, but it's good for commuting. It has no tread so I wouldn't use it in the rain. When you spin the wheel, it works properly. The air bubble will disappear after inflation. I've pumped it up to 90psi and it's a pleasure to ride.

Great tires very fast for 32mm tires great grip overall great quality I would expect from Continental. Not the easiest install first time as the bead is very snug against the rim but gets better after a few disassembles and reinstalls. Decent plate protection - there were a few moments when I should have had a plate but didn't have, but I've also had 3 plates for about 1500 miles so not totally impervious to spikes/glass/screws. Overall great tires for the money.

The reason I'm adding 3 stars is because the sizing is a bit imprecise. I bought a 700x28c and after replacing my 700x30c the size for the new ones is 30c not 28c even though the packaging and tires are 28c. If you are planning a purchase, be sure to order a smaller size to get the right size. In terms of fit and structure, these tires seem to fit my first 30-mile ride, although I still don't like their size. You feel that your ride has become more comfortable and smooth.

I've always been annoyed by a review that gave these tires 1 star. It just wasn't my experience. These are economical "training" tires. If you visit the Continental website, the Grand Sport Race is an all round tire. They can definitely race and they feel good. You get a very good tire for the price. If you're upgrading from real street tires at a great price, the Grand Sport Race is a good upgrade. But if you're going for high-end tires, I understand that Grand Sport can feel different. This…

When I mounted the rear tire I found where it would not fit properly on the rim. What I had to do was fill it up, deflate it. Fill several times to higher pressure.
