I managed to lose the remote control in a small living room. They even rearranged all the furniture - they just disappeared. I've used the app on my phone, but it's not always convenient. This replacement remote worked perfectly, had no problems with it at all.

The Roku Remote is the typical Roku remote that comes with your TV or Roku. The holder is of good quality. The remote is easy to insert and remove, even with old arthritic fingers. No more searching where my remote went.

This is my second Roku remote. I got my son's TCL and thought Roku could do whatever I needed. However, I needed a remote specifically for my TCL TV and Roku in one. So imagine Vanna White, my hands are now working on the shape of this little console! Yes, I was able to tune my TV and navigate through the channels.

Bought this as a replacement remote for our TCL Roku TV. It worked great with batteries installed (2 AAA batteries not included). Coupling is not required as it is based on IR. The plastic remote control holder is a nice accessory. Overall it works as intended and it feels and looks almost identical to the original remote that came with the TV.

The original remote control had to be aimed vertically at the center of the TV for use. The replacement doesn't need it, which is a refreshing relief. The original must be detective. I bought this because my dog's favorite things are dirt and TV remotes. I'm glad I replaced the original with something that works. Make sure you get one that works with your system.

The Roku remote that came with the TV was so bad I was considering getting a new TV. I bought this new remote control hoping it will be better. But that just goes to show that the Roku remote is awful! My TV is no more than 7 feet away and the remote works! I change the batteries about once a month but it doesn't help! I have to press the command several times before the TV responds. Find another remote control for your Roku TV or just don't buy a Roku TV! Buyer Warning!

I didn't know Roku remotes didn't work. The remote for our Roku TV stopped working after about a year and a half. So I got this and it worked great. Hope you don't have to change that anytime soon. I actually think it's more durable than what came with the TV. Love the little remote control holder that comes with it, but the TV is in the kids playroom and I doubt they'll ever remember putting it there when they're done watching TV, but it's still nice to have it closed to have.

UPDATE: It has volume and mute buttons. They are on the side of the small remote control, not on top of all the others. So 3 stars are now upgraded to 5 🤗👍. Is working! Just put the batteries in, period, and it works right away. The only drawback: it has NO volume buttons. The ones you assume "work" for volume control actually control "another" part of the TV's function. #WhatABummer But for the price - I'll keep using it until I find a remote that 'really' controls that particular function…
