I really like this ball wrapper and the accessories that come with it are great value for money. The seller met the delivery times. The only thing I need is a large spool to wind on. I combine different ends of balls and strands for future projects so I don't end up with fifty billion strands literally rolling around and the spool of the spool just isn't big enough; otherwise it's perfect!

This curler technically works well but is cheap and a nuisance. The plastic body and parts are thin, the spindle cracked when received. The spindle broke where the top cylinder meets the flat base. I can still use it but it's not reliable. I may be using it incorrectly, but the wire used to guide the thread didn't stay in place and tangled the thread as I wound it unless I was holding it by hand. But the gearbox works fine.

Don't buy the cheapest product and expect it to work like the most expensive. It does the job - it winds up SMALL balls of yarn to make your stash a little more manageable. When feeding, attention must be paid to the tension of the thread. Loose yarn and tangles will cause the yarn to knot around the swivel. The desk clamp isn't great, but it won't hurt your desk either. I bought a kit that included scissors, stitch markers, and plastic yarn needles. All of them are of decent quality. Although…
