Not as good as hoped

This curler technically works well but is cheap and a nuisance. The plastic body and parts are thin, the spindle cracked when received. The spindle broke where the top cylinder meets the flat base. I can still use it but it's not reliable. I may be using it incorrectly, but the wire used to guide the thread didn't stay in place and tangled the thread as I wound it unless I was holding it by hand. But the gearbox works fine.
